Steve Garvin, owner and operator of SG General Contracting, is a certified journeyman carpenter with 12 years experience in the trade. Steve worked for journeymen and fine home building companies for seven years in Alberta and Ontario before starting his own business in 2008.

Steve Garvin has experience in all aspects of residential home building and small commercial projects, from footings for buildings to the finishing touches of kitchen cabinets and trim. Other past projects include full house builds, framing, decks, basement, bathroom, and kitchen renovations, and custom woodworking (shelves, radiator covers, closet built-ins, etc.).

Steve's goal for SG General Contracting is to provide affordable customized solutions to cater to each individual client's needs. Steve believes in working with the client, designers, and sub-contractors to achieve the customer’s vision. His experience in managing a variety of different projects helps to ensure that work is completed on time and on budget by minimizing foreseeable delays and costs.
